About Inna Vernikov – New York Divorce & Immigration Attorney
Ms. Inna Vernikov, Esq. is the founding attorney of The Law Offices of Inna Vernikov, PLLC. Ms. Vernikov comes from a hard-working family of Ukrainian immigrants who migrated to the United States in 1996.
Ms. Vernikov’s legal career began many years before her time at law school, when at the age of twenty-three she successfully represented herself against a hair salon for burning her hair after a Japanese straightening service. Ms. Vernikov’s legal experience includes an impressive range of successful outcomes in matrimonial and family matters, as well as immigration cases.
Ms. Vernikov is a notable figure among the Jewish community and partakes in a plethora of Jewish organizations that mobilize social action involving some important and charitable causes. Ms. Vernikov is a “Next Generation” board member of Tikva, located in Odessa, Ukraine, an organization which is dedicated to identifying and supporting poor Jewish orphans that are in desperate need. Furthermore, Ms. Vernikov sits on the board and is actively involved in Americans Against Antisemitism, whose goal is to rally the support of all Americans in order to combat the growing threat of antisemitism in the United States and beyond.
Working alongside former assemblyman Dov Hikind, Ms. Vernikov is active in assisting to identify and tackle growing anti-Semitism. Ms. Vernikov strives to effect change by speaking out, adding her voice to various publications, as well as championing innovative projects such as the Synagogue Security Initiative in September of 2019.
In May of 2017, Ms. Vernikov partook in an ABC news conference with Assemblyman Hikind, speaking out against the City University of New York inviting anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour to speak at the school’s commencement ceremony. Ms. Vernikov was published in the Algemeiner, the fastest growing Jewish newspaper and a valiant media voice addressing important issues of our time as well as The Forward, a daily newspaper with wide circulation among the American Jewish community.

She then took part in drafting a legal memorandum on the potential criminal recourse against the company. Those findings were later published in several prominent publications such as The Blaze and the Jewish Press.
